Trahana or also called "trienitsa" is a traditional dish of Persian origin, known in our country mostly in Strandzha Mountain, Sakar and Rhodope Mountains. It is prepared according to an authentic recipe entirely by hand from pure local products, handed down by tradition in the family of Temenuzhka Mateva in the village of Plevun, Ivaylovgrad Region.
